Coronado Beach Family

My brother recently came down to southern California for an interventional radiology conference from Missouri. He got to stay in beautiful San Diego, specifically Coronado Island!  He is doing his medical residency in interventional radiology after finishing his residency in internal medicine. So yup, you can definitely say he got the brains of the family. The rest of us have other abilities–mine are much more on the creative and artistic side…lol. After spending three weeks in Missouri this past Thanksgiving and hardly getting to spend time with my brother, you can imagine I was thrilled he and his lovely family were due to come for his conference. I think I spent more time with him in 5 days while they were here then the whole three weeks I was in Missouri because of how much he works. We had a wonderful time catching up, watching our kids play together and just spending sibling bonding time. We were always very close growing up, so it’s been sad for us living so far apart and only getting to see eachother once, maybe twice a year if we’re lucky! So while they were down in San Diego, I, of course took full advantage and took their first ever family photos while hanging out at the Hotel Del Coronado in Coronado Island.  We had a fabulous time and am thrilled I was able to take photos of them in Coronado beach while they visited. I think I had visited Coronado beach and the Hotel Del a few years back during an adventurous ‘baby moon’ my husband and I decided to take before the birth of our first born. I fell in love with it, but had not been back since! So of course, I fully enjoyed this stay as I not only got to spend time with my brother, but we got to hang out at the Hotel Del!
