About a week ago as we were standing outside saying goodbye to my inlaws who had come over for dinner, I could’nt help but notice how gorgeous the sunlight was. It was about 6pm and although the sun wasn’t going to set right away by any means, the gorgeous golden sun would be going over the hills by my house in about 15-20 minutes. Of course the photographer in me kept thinking “ooooh that light…it would be perfect for some pictures!” I ran in the house and excitedly grabbed my daughter who was running around in her bathing suit and knotted hair and asked her if she wanted to go out front with me really quick to take pictures. She screamed “YEAH!!” (lucky me!) so I quickly changed her and tried to comb out her matted hair (sort of) it was beyond repair, and I knew every minute counted because of the sunlight. I grabbed the next best thing, a flower headband, I put her in a long white adorable maxi dress and off we went to try and catch some light! We did have about 15 minutes or a little less before the sun completely went over the hill, but I managed to get some backlit photos of her. Not to brag, but she’s such a poser and I LOVE it!!!! Here are a few of my favorites!!!
