Matt & Alyssa had the funnest engagement session at Strawberry Hill Farms in Columbia, Mo. When I met Alyssa and Matt for the first time, I instantly knew that we were all a match-made in Heaven. I loved how Alyssa talked about her faith and how important it was to her. I loved that she expressed her beautiful relationship with her parents and how they had all participated in keeping the proposal a surprise. She told me they wanted to get married on her parent’s property in Ashland and described to me her vision for their wedding. Matt sat quietly as he looked at Alyssa with tender eyes. They laughed as they talked about their relationship and how they met as school teachers and had to keep their dating a secret from their students until it was appropriate to announce. I loved hearing all about their carpooling to work in the mornings as this was their time to catch up and spend a little quiet time before the busy day and then on their carpool home, a quiet time to talk about the hectic day. I just knew that they were perfect for each other and nothing would make me happier than to capture their story.
The day of their engagement we met atStrawberry Hill Farms and wandered about the lovely property, taking advantage of the beautiful blooms, plants and colorful flowers. It made for such a beautiful backdrop. We then headed to Rock Bridge state park and got some great shots by one of the caves. Lastly, we headed over to The Grind Coffee House where we captured some quiet moments of conversation over coffee, one of the things that they enjoy doing most! What a perfect way to capture this sweet couple.

We had such a fun time capturing their personalities! I loved spending time with them, laughing with them and getting to know Alyssa and Matt!
