Our engagement session together in Jefferson city was nothing shy of amazing! Dylan, Lauren and I met on a gorgeous late summer September evening on a beautiful private property where the landscapes were the perfect backdrop to document their love.

How they met

Meet Lauren and Dylan, a couple whose love story began at a high school Halloween party and has blossomed into a beautiful journey filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion. As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing their love during their engagement session, and their story is one that truly warms the heart.

Lauren and Dylan share a deep connection that is evident in every moment they spend together. Whether they’re embarking on jeep rides through scenic routes, listening to their favorite song “Neon Moon” by Brooks and Dunn, enjoying romantic dinner dates, or simply cuddling up with their beloved dog Harpo, their bond radiates with love and joy.

Dylan is described as fun-loving, compassionate, and intelligent, always putting Lauren’s happiness above all else. His gestures, big and small, never fail to bring a smile to Lauren’s face. Meanwhile, Lauren is hailed as the epitome of caring and compassion, steadfast in her faith and always bringing light to every situation she encounters.

How he proposed

When Dylan decided to take their love to new heights, he proposed to Lauren during a trip to Nashville on a rooftop hotel overlooking the vibrant lights of Broadway. Surrounded by the electric energy of the city, Dylan popped the question, and Lauren joyfully said yes. But the surprises didn’t end there – Dylan had arranged for their friends and family to join in the celebration, turning a special moment into an unforgettable memory shared with loved ones.

As they look towards the future, Lauren and Dylan dream of building a life together in central Missouri, surrounded by their loved ones. They envision a future filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family, as they continue to support each other in their personal and professional endeavors.
