Josh and Melissa’s Spring wedding at Firestone Baars Chapel at Stephens College in Columbia Missouri was absolutely perfect. Spring is such a beautiful season where we begin to see life come out again, the temperatures begin to warm up allowing for the most beautiful days. Josh and Melissa’s wedding was exactly what May weddings are supposed to be, warm, sunny with a cool breeze.

The day started out with Melissa getting ready at her home with her sweet bridesmaids and mother as well as soon to be mother-in-law. The joy, giggles and laughter could be heard throughout. Melissa chose to share a first look with her bridesmaids before heading for her first look with Josh!

Next, we went to Stephens College where Melissa and Josh shared their first look, a sweet tender and special moment for just them two. Following their first look, Melissa and Josh were joined by their wedding party who just loved on them and celebrated their day alongside them.

After their portraits, we headed to Firestone Baars Chapel in preparation for their ceremony! Josh and Melissa’s wedding ceremony was so sweet as they were surrounded by friends and family who were there to witness this union and to celebrate with them was such a beautiful sight.

After their ceremony, they shared more time together as we took their first portraits as husband and wife outside of Baars Chapel. After that, we were off to their grand entrance at Kimball Ballroom!

Their love for each other could be felt throughout the day and seen through the words spoken by their closest friends and family. I had the privilege of witnessing Josh and Melissa’s wedding, and getting to be a part of documenting these moments for them was so wonderful. I’m very thankful to have been a part of such a special day for them.
