Today, my heart is overflowing with joy as I reminisce about the incredible privilege I had to photograph Ella & Gavin’s wedding! Ella and Gavin decided to have a summer wedding at the beautiful Emerson Fields Wedding Venue in Excello Missouri.
I could not be more excited to have the privilege of documenting their love story. From the time I met Ella & Gavin for their engagement session at Mizzou and downtown Columbia (you can view by clicking here) and getting to know them through that, I could see their sweet and gentle spirits and knew they were a perfect fit.
Fast forward to their wedding day, as I stood amidst the beautiful picturesque landscapes and serene ambiance created an atmosphere I couldn’t help but feel the weight of the love that filled the air. Emerson Fields, with its modern rustic charm and ethereal beauty, provided the perfect backdrop for this sacred celebration.
When I arrived I was greeted by such an amazing vendor team, and I knew it would be a perfect day for Ella & Gavin. Everything was so perfectly thought out and planned. It truly was a beautiful sight, from the florals and coordinating team provided by Tyena from D-Zines by T in Macon, Missouri to the sweet cake designed by Kristina from Cakes by Kristina. All of the details were such a beautiful sight.
The day began with styling their beautiful wedding details to their getting ready photos. Ella and her father did a first look, which was the sweetest most tender moment between a father and his daughter. Following that was Ella’s first look with Gavin, a truly sweet and perfect moment. Reading letters to each other was one of the most special parts of the day as they shared their heart with each other and a few tears as well.
The day was filled with so much joy, laughter and happy tears. I captured each stolen glance, every tender touch, and the heartfelt laughter shared by loved ones. I couldn’t help but be moved by the raw emotions that filled the air. It was as if time stood still, allowing us all to witness a love story unfold before our very eyes.
In that moment, I realized that my role as a photographer extended far beyond capturing mere images. I am entrusted with preserving memories that would be cherished for generations to come. The responsibility was both humbling and awe-inspiring.
Ella & Gavin, thank you for inviting me into your love story. Your love radiated through every frame, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to capture the essence of your bond.
I know that the love that blossomed at Emerson Fields wedding venue will continue to flourish and guide Ella & Gavin through this new journey of married life.
