As a St. Louis, Missouri wedding photographer, I had the honor of capturing Jen and Jake’s beautiful fall wedding at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, Missouri. Their Celebration was a beautiful blend of modern artistry and heartfelt moments, set within one of the most unique wedding venues in the St. Louis area. From intentional details to emotional in-between moments, their day reflected everything I love about documenting weddings in a timeless and elevated way.

Getting Ready
Jen spent the morning getting ready at her childhood home, surrounded by her bridesmaids and the familiar comfort of family. The house was filled with laughter and excitement, and the kind of meaningful moments that come from the start of a wedding day in a place so rich with memories.
Meanwhile, Jake prepared for the day alongside his groomsmen at the home the couple share together, setting the tone for a fun, relaxed and joyful start to their celebration

Ceremony
Jen and Jake exchanged vows at Webster Hills United Methodist Church in Webster Groves, Missouri, surrounded by family and close friends. The Ceremony was heartfelt and reverent, filled with sweet and meaningful moments that reflected both their faith and the depth of their relationship. The classic architecture and warm atmosphere of the church created a timeless setting for such an important part of their wedding day.

First Look
Jen and Jake chose to share a private first look together, creating a quiet, intentional moment before the day unfolded. Jen also shared an emotional first look with her father, gifting him a hand-embroidered handkerchief with a personal note written just for him. Each handkerchief, thoughtfully created for her parents and soon-to-be husband, added a meaningful layer to the morning. Before the ceremony, Jen and Jake took time to read their vows to one another in private — a moment that allowed them to be fully present and grounded before celebrating with family and friends.

Reception
The celebration continued at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, Missouri, where Jen and Jake’s reception unfolded in an atmosphere that felt both modern and full of energy. Surrounded by contemporary art and open gallery spaces, guests gathered for heartfelt toasts, joyful laughter, and a lively evening of celebration. With a full guest count filling the space, the reception felt vibrant and communal — from the emotional speeches and cake cutting to the moments that carried the night effortlessly into the dance floor.

From the quiet, meaningful moments at the start of the day to a joyful celebration surrounded by family and friends, Jen and Jake’s wedding was a beautiful reflection of intention, connection, and timeless style. From their ceremony in Webster Groves to their modern reception at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, Missouri, every part of the day flowed seamlessly.
Weddings like Jen and Jake’s are a reminder of how meaningful it is to document a day with intention and artistry.
