Sarah and Andrew’s Forest Park engagement session in St. Louis, Missouri was a beautiful reflection of their sweet, genuine connection and the season of life they’re stepping into together. Set against the lush greenery and timeless scenery of Forest Park, their engagement session captured effortless joy, quiet moments, and the kind of love that feels both sincere and enduring. As they look ahead to their spring wedding celebration at the Coronado in St. Louis, this engagement session serves as the perfect beginning to their wedding story.

How They Met
Sarah and Andrew met in the fall of their senior year of college, thanks to two of their closest friends who were dating and decided to introduce their friend groups. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The two immediately connected during a Mizzou football game, where conversation came easily and laughter flowed naturally. From that moment on, it was clear that what began as a simple introduction was the start of something meaningful.

Their Favorite Thing to Do Together
At the heart of Sarah and Andrew’s relationship is a deep appreciation for quality time. Whether it’s unwinding after work and catching up on the details of their day or spending meaningful moments surrounded by family and friends, being fully present together is what matters most. It’s in those everyday moments — the simple conversations and shared experiences — that their bond continues to grow stronger.

What They Love Most About Each Other
Sarah describes Andrew as the most selfless person she has ever met. His greatest joy comes from making those around him happy, and his heart never stops giving. He radiates love wherever he goes and has an incredible way of lifting her spirit, always putting her in a good mood. Through him, Sarah says she has learned what true love really looks like.
For Andrew, Sarah is the most loving and encouraging person he knows. No matter how the day unfolds, she has a gift for finding joy in the little things. She genuinely cares for everyone around her, and he is endlessly thankful for the warmth, positivity, and love she brings into his life.

The Proposal
Andrew’s proposal was nothing short of thoughtful and perfectly planned — even if it completely caught Sarah by surprise. With the help of Sarah’s best friends (identical twins) and their mom, Andrew orchestrated what Sarah believed was a surprise birthday party at the Jewel Box. Convinced she was the one doing the surprising, Sarah never once questioned Andrew’s involvement or the plan.
When Andrew picked her up and drove her to the Jewel Box, she remained completely unaware of what was actually about to happen. Once inside the greenhouse, Sarah began to panic, confused by the lack of party decorations and worried they were in the wrong place. She tried multiple times to leave, afraid they would miss the surprise altogether. Andrew eventually took her by the hand and gently led her deeper into the space. Even as he began sharing heartfelt words about how much he loved her, Sarah was still trying to exit — until Andrew finally looked at her and said, “Sarah, I am proposing to you.”
In that moment, everything stopped. Andrew spoke the most meaningful words, got down on one knee, and asked her to be his wife. Overcome with joy, Sarah said yes, surrounded shortly after by their family and later celebrating with all of their closest friends. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories — one Sarah will always cherish.

Dreams for the Future
Looking ahead, Sarah and Andrew dream of finding the perfect home and making it truly their own. They hope to grow together through life by excelling in their careers, deepening their faith, and prioritizing time with family and friends. One day, they envision building a beautiful family of their own and giving their children a life filled with love, support, and strong values.
