This Engagement session Hermann Farm was just perfect! It was a chilly December afternoon when I drove up to Emily’s family farm. Emily told me about the barn that had been in her family for 100 years. I was so excited to meet with Dalton and Emily in person and get to know them. We walked around her family’s property chatting about how long the farm had been in their family. It was such a neat place to document Emily and Dalton, as this was clearly a special spot for them. From the farm we drove to Hermann Farm and drove around the beautiful grounds. Dalton drove up to a beautiful look out spot with a beautiful view of downtown Hermann and a view of the Missouri River. From there we walked around downtown Hermann where there was even a Christmas Hallmark movie being filmed!
We made our way to the Festhalle and White House Hotel where we continued documenting lots of laughter, dancing and snuggles. I’ll be honest, it was pretty chilly and they were both such troopers for their Engagement session in Hermann Farm. You would have never known by Emily’s sweet smile as she practiced her first dance with Dalton in her summery blue dress. The smiles and tender moments were such a delight to capture. The sun never came out, but we had a wonderful time chatting and getting to know each other as well as talking about all of the exciting things to come for their September wedding. September will be here before you know it, and it will be beautiful! Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session.
